1.5 – 5 years
At SPRINGLOADED our focus is on Fun, Fundamentals and Fitness. Our KindaGym curriculum for under 5 year olds offers learning through Auditory, Visual and Kinesthetic based movement activities. Assessments are done each term on our gymnasts and parents will receive progress reports.
Each week these programs will focus on a different “Theme” to engage creative thinking. Our KindaGym program controls the environment and not the gymnast allowing KindaGym gymnasts the freedom in exploring their environment with parents participating in a guiding role.
On completion of our KindaGym curriculum our gymnasts will have developed socially, emotionally, cognitively and physically all the skills necessary to be successful preschool students and are ready for our General Gymnastics programs.
1.5 – 3 years
For our 1.5 year to 3 year old beginning gymnasts. Parent participation is paramount in helping Springloaded Play Gymmer’s (1.5yr to 3 years) to develop gross and fine motor movement patterns utilising modified and substituted gymnastics equipment and Springloaded curriculum learning.
3 – 5 years
Our 3 to 4 year old budding gymnasts move forward building skill blocks across a broad spectrum of platforms from climbing, swinging and jumping to balancing, posing and sequences. By controlling the environment and not the gymnast we allow Kinda Gymmer’s the freedom in exploring their environment with parents participating in a guiding role. Kinda Gymmer’s continue to learn through our Springloaded Curriculum and we also introduce the rudiments of classroom teaching with parents actively helping at skill stations instead of moving around the circuit with their own child.
4 – 5 years
Our final class for our Under 5yr old gymnasts is our third group of fundamentals, fun and fitness building blocks in our Springloaded Curriculum with our Junior Gymmer’s now confident to participate in their class without parent assistance. Junior Gymmer’s take ownership of their movement and perform gymnastics based skills with/without assistance from a qualified coach during this transitional stage. They will now have a simple understanding of how their body moves and basic play concepts on gymnastics equipment along with a myriad of developmental and educational concepts. At this stage we expect our Junior Gymmer’s to have developed socially, emotionally, cognitively and physically through the provision of a safe, structured, auditory, visual, kinesthetic movement based environment with all the skills necessary to be successful preschool students.
5 – 12 years
At SPRINGLOADED we believe gymnastics needs to be fun. Kids need to be constantly on the move and being challenged. Our focus is on Fun, Fundamentals and Fitness. Our General Gymnastics Curriculum for 5 to 12yr olds offers age/skill appropriate groups, incorporating auditory, visual and kinesthetic movement patterns within a Gymnastics program. Our groups are colour coded to ensure that your child is placed in the correct group focused on learning the most appropriate skills for their ability. Our programs emphasis is on the development of strength, flexibility, coordination and fine/gross motor skills in a fun social environment ensuring your child develops the skills, self-confidence and motivation to thrive in any environment.
5 – 8 years
Our All Stars will work at their own pace through our skills curriculum to gain the fundamental building blocks needed to progress into harder skills. This program is reward driven and will focus on skill development on a variety of apparatus in a fun stimulating environment.
9 – 12 years
Our Gym Stars will work at their own pace through our skills curriculum to gain the fundamental building blocks needed to progress into harder skills. This program is reward driven and will focus on skill development on a variety of apparatus in a fun stimulating environment.
Invitation Class 5 – 8 years
Our SUPER STARS class is an advanced program for our 5 to 8 yr olds. The program focuses on skill acquisition in an accelerated learning environment with a focus on strength, conditioning, flexibility, posture and technique. The program incorporates assessment criteria to ensure your child is progressing safely and successfully.
Invitation Class 9 – 12 years
Our SUPER NOVAS class is an advanced program for our 9 to 12yr olds. The program focuses on skill acquisition in an accelerated learning environment with a focus on strength, conditioning, flexibility, posture and technique. The program incorporates assessment criteria to ensure your child is progressing safely and successfully. Our curriculum is designed to provide pathways into competitive gymnastics or to continue your learning into Teen Gym.
5 – 12 years
Our ASTRO STARS is our special needs gymnastics program providing a safe, fun environment for children between the ages of 5 and 12yrs with a physical or intellectual disability. Classes are run when the gym is quieter so there is less chance of distraction or feelings of being overwhelmed. Our qualified staff have extensive experience working with special needs children. The program provides sensory stimulation, gross motor activities and gymnastics skills to facilitate growth in all areas of your child’s emotional and physical development. The programs run for 30 minutes and participants are required to have a parent or carer with them at all times.
5 – 12 years+
The beginner trampoline class offers the basic introduction to trampoline and tumbling. No previous trampoline experience is required. The Beginner trampoline program will develop the basic fundamental movements for trampoline and aim to progress children along into more advanced Trampoline skills. Beginner Trampoline will feed into Intermediate trampoline.
This class is for boys and girls who have completed the list of requirements in Beginner Tramp. The age ranges from 5 to 12 years. Children will learn aerial awareness and develop coordination through various exercises such as saltos, twists and a combination of both. Each weekly class is 60 minutes long and includes a 10 minute warm-up, Tumble Track, Pit Tramp, Performance Trampolines and conditioning.
Intermediate / Advanced Trampolining
This class is for boys and girls who have completed the list of requirements in Beginner Tramp. The age ranges from 7 to 12 years. Children will learn aerial awareness and develop coordination through various exercises such as saltos, twists and a combination of both. Each weekly class is 60 minutes long and includes a 10 minute warm-up, Tumble Track, Pit Tramp, Performance Trampolines and conditioning.
5 – 12 years
Junior Parkour is a basic introduction into Extreme Parkour. Participants will learn to build strength and skills by learning basic tumbling and to skills, jumping over objects in a free run style of movement. "If you trip over and do a roll, you just did parkour" - Todd - Head Parkour Instructor
Extreme Parkour Invitational
Extreme Teen Parkour will build your strength and skills by learning how to tumble, flip. jump, crawl efficiently on, around and under objects
Extreme parkour is exactly what it is.. EXTREME! an invite only class if you conquer the requirements in the general parkour classes!
A more risky class to general parkour, doing movements at a more advanced level and this is why we have made this class invite only. If you wish to participate in the extreme parkour class you'll have to go though the general program first to be considered by the head coaches!
Adult gym is suited for all adults, both with or without gymnastics experience. The program allows for each individual to achieve his or her own unique goals. Each class there will be a warm up which will incorporate basic strength and flexibility and guided training time. During guided training time each individual can move at his or hers own pace and work to achieve his or her individual goals under the direction and supervision of the coach. No gymnastics experience is required.
13 – 17 years
Teen gym is aimed for any teenager with or with out gymnastics experience. Teen gym will focus to develop strength, flexibility and gymnastics skills. Teen gym allows for each individual to develop with his or her area of interest unique to each individual. The program can cover trampoline, gymnastic, aerial circus skills and tricking.
